’M, the Glitch Pokémon, is one of the many remnants from the beta testings of the games Pokémon Red and Blue. This Pokémon is most notable by its vague resemblance to a backwards ‘L’ and is one of the most malicious glitch Pokémon ever found in any game to date. Its most famous crime in-game is probably how it ruins your PC storage system.

Game Appearances
Red & Blue
‘M is obtained after activating the Coffee Man Glitch and surfing up and down the east coast of Cinnabar Island. It appears rarely for reasons unknown, but it usually appears in two varieties, level 0 and level 80.
Yellow
‘M is completely unobtainable in Pokémon Yellow, but it seems to have an ‘alternate form’. This is caused by unexplainable reasons, but when an ‘M is traded to Yellow it retains the name ‘M as a nickname but the species is changed to 3TrainerPoké, a version similar to ‘M in multiple ways but in shades of yellow as opposed to the purple shades of ‘M.
