Aron (ココドラ) is the 70th Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Steel/Rock Type, and it is known as the Iron Armor Pokémon.
Aron can have one of two abilities: Sturdy, which nullifies the effect of one-hit KO moves on it, and starting with Generation V, prevents it from being Knocked Out in one hit--if its HP is full, an attack that would have caused a KO will leave it with 1 HP; or Rock Head, which nullifies recoil from moves such as Double-Edge or Head Smash. Aron from the Dream World have access to a third Ability, the Heavy Metal Ability. This ability doubles its weight in battle, affecting how much damage it would take from Grass Knot or Low Kick as well as how much damage it can deal out from the attack Heavy Slam.
Aron gains the opportuinty to evolve into a Lairon starting at Level 32. It can evolve into the ferocious Aggron starting at Level 42.
Aron is in the Monster Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 8,960 Steps to hatch. It takes Aron 1,250,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
