Beldum (ダンバル) is the 190th Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Steel/Psychic Type, and it is known as the Iron Ball Pokémon.

Beldum has the Clear Body Ability. This Ability makes it immune to having its Statistics lowered from an opponent's attack, but can still reduce its own Statistics as a result of moves that it uses. A second Ability is available to Beldum that come from the Dream World, the Light Metal Ability. This Ability cuts its weight in half.

Beldum gain the opportunity to evolve into a Metang at Level 20, and can evolve a second time at Level 45 into Metagross. Starting in the Generation VI games Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, a Metagross can Mega Evolve into Mega Metagross by using a Mega Stone.

Beldum is in the Mineral Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 10,240 Steps to hatch. It takes a Beldum 1,250,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

A Beldum can be obtained at Steven's House after defeating the Elite Four in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.

Beldum appear at Route 228 during a Swarm in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. Beldum appears at the Safari Zone's Forest Zone in Heart Gold and Soul Silver after 21 Peak Objects have been placed in the area and 70 Days have passed.

The only way to obtain a Beldum in Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 is to breed either a Metang or a Metagross with a Ditto.

A Shiny Beldum that is given to you by way of an event in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. This Shiny Beldum will be holding the Mega Stone required for Metagross to Mega Evolve.

Beldum appears at the Phobosphere, Endless Level 46, Forever Level 46 and Mr. Who's Den in Pokémon Trozei!.

Beldum appears at Mt. Steel 6F-8F, Wish Cave 15F-17F, Solar Cave 1F-4F and Joyous Tower 14F-16F in the first round of Mystery Dungeon games. In Explorers of Time, Explorers of Darkness & Explorers of Sky, Beldum appears at Crystal Cave B1-B7. Beldum is exclusive to Light Adventure Squad in Mystery Dungeon 3, appearing at Chocolate Field 10F-15F.

Beldum appears at the Jungle Ruins and Team Go-Go's Headquarters in Pokémon Ranger. Beldum does not appear in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, but returns in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs on the fourth floor of the Wireless Tower and the third floor of Oblivia Ruins in the Present, and the Thunder Temple Mission Panic at the Perplexing Temple by capturing it and obtaining its Slate, but in order to retain the Slate, you have to defeat the Boss within the time limit: an Electivire.

Beldum can be found at World Axle Factory B2 in Pokémon Rumble Blast.

Beldum appears at Illusio in Pokémon Conquest, along with Valora during a Swarm.

Morrison used a Beldum in two episodes involving the Hoenn League. During a Hoenn League battle against another trainer's Electabuzz in the episode Saved by the Beldum!, Beldum would evolve into a Metang.
