Binding Band

Binding Band.png The Binding Band, first appearing in Pokémon Black and White games, is a hold item that increases the damage of binding moves from 1/16 to 1/8 of the opponent's maximum HP.

[edit] In-Game Descriptions

  • Black/White: A band that increases the power of binding moves when held.

[edit] How To Obtain

• This item cannot be bought in shops in-game on any generations and game cartridges.

• This item can be traded between Black and White games, provided the Pokémon being traded is holding the Binding Band as its item and both game cartridges can trade back and forth.

  • Black/White: The Binding Band can be bought at the Battle Subway for 48BP.

[edit] Strategizing with the Binding Band

A good strategy to use the Binding Band is to equip it to a Pokémon that knows a Binding Move, like the move Wrap, and to use that as the first move in battle. Then, use other moves to lower your foe's attack stat, or to raise your defense stat. That way, all you have to do is use Wrap twice, and in eight turns, the opposing Pokémon will faint. This way, you could easily beat a stronger opponent then yourself.
