 Pokémon Information
 Competitive Battling
Blaziken was placed in UU in 4th Generation Tiers. For Generation V, it was bumped all the way to Uber because of the advantage given to it by its new ability, Speed Boost. Combining its Hidden Ability with high Offensive Statistics and a movepool that includes many powerful moves. It performs well on Sun-Based teams in the Uber Tier, making Flare Blitz a very dangerous move in spite of the recoil.
Disabling the weather and/or phazing Blaziken will eliminate the Statistical increases that occur with a Blaziken that uses Speed Boost. Using Extremespeed to bypass the increases to its Speed work wonders too, especially with Blaziken's relatively low defenses.
