Blitzle (シママ) is the 28th Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex. It is an Electric Type, and it is known as an Electrified Pokémon.
Both of Blitzle's regular Abilities give it an immunity to Electric-Type attacks. Motor Drive will increase its Speed by one stage if it gets hit by an Electric-Type move, whereas Lightningrod will draw Electric-Type attacks to it, nullifying the attack and increasing its Special Attack by one stage.
The Sap Sipper Ability, Blitzle's Dream World Ability, nullifies damage from Grass-Type moves and increases its Attack by one stage when hit with a Grass-Type move.
Blitzle gain the opportunity to evolve into Zebstrika starting at Level 27.
Blitzle is in the Field Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Blitzle One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Blitzle takes on the appearance of a zebra-like colt. Its fur is moslty black and there is some trace of white, which forms stripes on its neck, legs, chest and back. Blitzle has a small white stubby tail. Its mane is be based off a lighting-bolt, the colouration of it is white. Blitzle has small ears with the inner colouring blue. It has a large oval eyes, the sclera is yellow and the iris is blue. It has a large-round black nose.

Blitzle appears at Route 3 in Black and White. In Black 2 and White 2, you'll have to breed a Zebstrika.

Blitzle appears at Cove Town's Cove Area after befriending Pansage, Pansear and Panpour in PokéPark2: Wonders Beyond. It can be befriended after beating it in a Tag Race.
Blitzle appears at Violight in Pokémon Conquest, but it won't appear until after beating the game.

Blitzle appears in three different sets, and the Journey Friends and McDonalds Promos. Blitzle is listed as a Common Card in the Black&White (2), Noble Victories and Next Destinies sets.

A few different trainers have appeared within the Anime, most notably within the episode Oshawott's Lost Scallop, in which a Blitzle's Double Kick attack knocks away Oshawott's Scallop during a battle. Iris's Axew would eventually find the missing Scallop, and Ash's Oshawott would win the battle without it.

Wild Blitzle appear in both versions of Pokémon Movie 14, and another trainer uses a Blitzle in the White version of the 14th Film.
