Boldore (ガントル) is the 31st Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex. It is a Rock type, and it is known as the Ore Pokémon.

Boldore's ability is Sturdy, which nullifies the effect of One-Hit Knock Out moves such as Fissure or Horn Drill, and starting with Generation V, all Pokémon that have this ability cannot be knocked out when its HP is full. In this instance the Pokémon will have 1 HP left instead. A second ability exclusive to Boldore captured in the Dream World, called Sand Force, increases the power of Ground, Rock, and Steel-Type moves by 33% during a Sandstorm.

Boldore are the evolved form of Roggenrola, which can evolve into Boldore when they reach Level 25. Boldore can only evolve into Gigalith when it is traded to another Pokémon Black or White game card

Boldore is in the Mineral Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 3,840 steps to hatch. It takes Boldore 1,059,860 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Boldore can be found at Chargestone Cave, Mistralton Cave, Twist Mountain, Victory Road, and Giant Chasm in Black and White. In Black 2 and White 2, Boldore appears at Chargestone Cave, Clay Road, Mistralton Cave, Rebirth Mountain, Relic Path, Seaside Cave, Twist Mountain, Victory Road and Wellspring Cave.

Boldore appears at the Colosseum's Crag Area in PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond. It can be befriended by defeating it in a battle, but there's one problem: it's sleeping. Awakening it with some water will get it out of its slumber; after defeating it you'll be able to call it into battle.

Boldore appears in the Pointy Rock Nation in Pokémon Conquest.

During the episode Battling the King of the Mines!, Ash's Roggenrola would evolve into a Boldore during his Gym Battle against Clay. It would defeat Clay's Excadrill to win the match. Since then, it has been a strong member of Ash's stable of Pokémon.
