Braviary (ウォーグル) is the 134th Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex. He is a Normal/Flying-Type, and is known as the Valiant Pokémon.

Braviary can have one of two Abilities: Keen Eye, which prevents his Accuracy from getting lowered by the attacks of his opponents; or Sheer Force, which increases the power of his moves that have a secondary effect by 33%, but those secondary effects are lost as a result. After evolving, Braviary from the Dream World use a different Ability, the Defiant Ability. This Ability increases his Attack by two stages when an opponents' attacks reduce any of his Statistics.

Rufflet can evolve into Braviary at Level 54.

Braviary is in the Flying Egg Group, and his Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Braviary 1,250,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Braviary can be found on Route 11 in Pokémon White. In Pokémon White 2, Braviary appear behind a house on Route 4 every Thursday. This Braviary has its Hidden Ability, Defiant. The only way to obtain a Braviary in Pokémon Black and Pokémon Black 2 is to trade for one.

Braviary appears at Rockridge Fort in the Crag Area in PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond after befriending Druddigon. To befriend Braviary you'll have to face it in battle.

Braviary can only be obtained by evolving Rufflet in Pokémon Conquest.

Braviary is currently in the Never-Utilized, Rarely-Utilized and Under-Utilized Tiers of competitive battling. He's a tough physical attacker to go against in either of the three aforementioned tiers. Its unique movepool for a physical Flying type also make it one of the most feared since the typical Steel and Rock type responses fear its most common secondary move, Superpower. While Braviary is certainly capable of powering through teams, it's base 80 Speed stat is the main reason it is unable to shine in higher tiers.
