Burmy (ミノムッチ) is the 45th Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex. It is a Bug-Type, and it is known as the Bagworm Pokémon.

Burmy uses the Shed Skin Ability. This Ability gives it a 1 in 3 chance of healing itself from a Status Condition every turn that it is afflicted with one. A second Ability is available to Burmy from the Dream World, the Overcoat Ability. This Ability protects it from the damaging effects of the weather conditions Sandstorm and Hail.

Burmy gain the opportunity to evolve at Level 20, but what it evolves into depends on its gender. A female Burmy will evolve into a Wormadam with whatever cloak it has at the time, becoming either Wormadam Plant Cloak, Wormadam Sand Cloak or Wormadam Trash Cloak. At Level 20 a male Burmy will evolve into a Mothim.

Burmy is in the Bug Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 3,840 Steps to hatch. It takes Burmy One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.
