Cacnea has the Sand Veil Ability. In addition to making it immune to the damaging effects from a Sandstorm regardless of typing, its Evasion is increased by one level during a Sandstorm. A second Ability is available to Cacnea from the Dream World, the Water Absorb Ability. With this Ability, up to 25% of its maximum HP is restored if it gets hit by a move of the Water Type.

Cacnea gains the opportunity to evolve into Cacturne starting at Level 32.

Cacnea is in the Egg Groups Grass and Human-Like, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Cacnea 1,059,860 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
