[edit] Biology
[edit] Physiology
In its Overcast Form, Cherrim takes on the appearance of a flower blossom with its petals closed. The closed flower petals are purple in appearance in this form. In its Sunshine Form, Cherrim appears like a flower that has blossomed. Its face is fully visible in the Sunshine Form, which is activated during periods of strong sunlight.
[edit] Gender Differences
Cherrim doesn't have any differences to differentiate between male and female.
[edit] Game Information
[edit] Original Games
In Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold and Soul Silver, the only way to obtain a Cherrim is to evolve a Cherubi. Wild Cherrim can be found on Route 12 in Black and White.
[edit] Spin-Off Games
Cherrim can be found at Treeshroud Forest 1F-9F in Explorers of Time, Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Sky. Cherrim is exclusive to Blazing Adventure Squad in Mystery Dungeon 3, appearing on the Path to Treasure Valley B1-B6.
Cherrim appears on a ledge at Perill Cliff in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. In Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, Cherrim appears at the Flower Garden on Renbow Island, but the only way to reach that section of Latolato Trail is to be riding on Suicune to reach that area, then use its Roar to flush it out of its hiding place. Cherrim doesn't appear in the Past Missions.
Cherrim appears at Shimmering Lake Treetops 2-4 in its Sunshine Form, and at Everspring Valley Forest 4-2 in its Overcast Form in Pokémon Rumble Blast.
[edit] Trading Card Game
Cherrim is listed in the Pokémon Rumble Mini-Set and Pokémon Organized Play Series 8 as an Uncommon Card. Cherrim is listed as an Uncommon Card in the Diamond and Pearl, Supreme Victors and Unleashed sets, and as a Rare Card in the Stormfront and Arceus Sets.
The only appearance of an Overcast Form Cherrim is in the Arceus Set; its other appearances are in its Sunshine Form.
[edit] Anime/Manga Information
[edit] Anime
A trainer named Lila used a Cherrim during the episode Battling the Generation Gap, which featured the Celestic Town Pokémon Contest. Lila also happened to be one of the rivals of Dawn's mother, Johanna. Cherrim's appeals put Lila into the Final 8, and Lila would face Dawn in the finals.
[edit] Movies
Wild Cherrim appear during the film The Rise of Darkrai, the only appearance in the films for Cherrim as of writing.
[edit] Manga
Cherrim's Manga Information is unknown as of writing.
[edit] Pokémon Information
[edit] Competitive Battling
Cherrim finds itself in the Never-Utilized Tier of Competitive Battling. On a Sun Team, Cherrim is a pretty good option, especially in Double and Triple Battles with its Ability, Flower Gift. In Singles, Flower Gift gives its Physical Attacks a boost, making Seed Bomb and Nature Power viable options, the latter becoming Earthquake. It can also run a Special Set with Sunny Day, making Weather Ball a Fire-Type move and allowing it to fire Solarbeam without taking a turn to charge up.
However, its Speed isn't that good, and its Physical Defense is rather low, making it an easier target with physical attacks.
