Chespin (ハリマロン) is the first Pokémon in the Kalos Central Pokédex. It is a Grass-Type, and is known as the Shelled Chestnut Pokémon.

Chespin uses the Overgrow Ability, which increases the power of its Grass-Type moves by 50% once its HP falls below one-third of its maximum. Chespin's Hidden Ability is Bulletproof, an Ability that protects it from some moves that are based off of balls and bombs.

Chespin gain the opportunity to evolve into Quilladin starting at Level 16, and can evolve a second time into Chesnaught starting at Level 36.

Chespin is in the Field Egg Group. It takes Chespin 1,059,860 to reach Level 100.
