Chili is the first gym leader of the Unova Region you will face if you chose Snivy as your starter [[Pokémon. He has two cousins, Cress and Cilan, who like using Water and Grass types respectively, though Chili uses Fire-type Pokémon.

In battle, Chili uses a Lillipup, as well as a Pansear.

Chili is the hot-headed member of the trio, and as such is always eager to take on a challenger.

If you speak with him after battling one of the other two gym leaders, he'll express his disappointment for not getting a chance to meet you in battle.
