Ditto (Egg Group)

The Ditto Egg Group is a special group designed to set apart Ditto from all other Pokémon Egg Groups. This is because Ditto can breed with every Pokémon in the game, including Male-Only Pokémon such as Braviary or Tauros, and Genderless Pokémon such as Magnezone or Electrode, but excluding Pokémon that are in the Undiscovered Egg Group, or a second Ditto.

Unlike Pokémon that are in other Egg Groups, the Ditto Egg Group is the only Egg Group in which its member(s) cannot breed with each other. This is because Ditto cannot breed with another Ditto.
