Doom Desire is a Steel-Type move introduced in Generation III, which functions like Future Sight (these two moves can not be used during the duration of one another), in that it attacks the user after 3 turns instead of during the turn it is used. On the turn it is used, it records the Special Attack and Special Defense of the target Pokemon, then uses these for the damage calculation 3 turns later, even if the original target has fainted or been switched out. At the move is used, the presence of Protect, Detect or Endure is also recorded, and will block the move as normal when it hits 3 turns later.

Doom Desire is typeless (possibly ??? type) and so does not get STAB. It is also not effected by the ability Wonder Guard. Doom Desire cannot score a Critical Hit. It is the signature move of Jirachi.
