Dragonair () is the 148th Pokémon in the Pokédex. It is a Dragon-Type, and it is known as the Dragon Pokémon.
Dragonair uses the Shed Skin Ability. This Ability gives it a 1 in 3 chance of healing itself from one of the five Major Status Conditions every turn that it is afflicted by said condition. A second Ability is available to Dragonite from the Dream World, the Marvel Scale Ability. This Ability will increase its Defense by 50% when afflicted with a Status Condition.
Dragonair takes on the appearance of a slender, serpentine dragon with a horn and a pair of small wings on its head, and gems on its neck and tail. The gems take the appearance of orbs.
 Gender Differences
Dragonair doesn't have any differences to differentiate between male and female.

Clair would also obtain a Dragonair after her Dratini evolved. Ash would face Dragonair in a Gym Battle against Clair during the episode Better Eight Than Never. Her Dragonair would defeat Pikachu before being beaten by Charizard.
While Dragonair hasn't appeared in any of the films, a Wild Dragonair appears in the Pikachu Short "Pikachu's Rescue Adventure."
Dragonair's Manga Information is unknown as of writing.
 Pokémon Information
 Competitive Battling
Eviolite has been a big reason behind Dragonair appearing outside of the NFE tier--with this item and access to Extremespeed its a viable option in the Never-Utilized and Rarely-Utilized Tiers of Competitive Battling. It doesn't have much in terms of Speed or Special Attack, but Dragon Dance makes it a physical sweeping threat. Using Special Attacks would really be situational at best, however, leaving Physical sweeping as the best option for Dragonair.
