Drifloon (フワンテ) is the 65th Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex. It is a Ghost/Flying Type, and is known as the Balloon Pokémon.

Drifloon has two main abilities, Aftermath and Unburden. The first ability it can have, Aftermath, takes away 25% of the Pokémon's HP that landed the finishing hit, but only if the finishing move required physical contact. The other ability, Unburden, doubles the Pokémon's Speed when their held item is used or lost. Drifloon can also have the ability Flare Boost as a Dream World ability. This ability will raise Drifloon's Special Attack by 50% when it is burned.

Drifloon gain the opportunity to evolve into Drifblim starting at Level 28.

Drifloon is in the Amorphous Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 7,680 Steps to hatch. It takes Drifloon 1,640,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Drifloon is a round Pokémon, closely resembling a balloon. It's body is purple, and it has two black, stringy arms extending out of its body serving as arms. At the end of these strings are its "hands" which are shaped like yellow hearts. Drifloon also has a "cloud on its head,and a yellow "X" across ifs face.

Drifloon appear once a week at Valley Windworks in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. It always appears outside the Windworks on Fridays.

Drifloon can only be obtained by breeding a Drifblim in Black and White. In Black 2 and White 2, Drifloon can sometimes be found within a Hidden Hollow on Route 13.

Drifloon can be found at Chasm Cave B1-B8 and Sky Stairway 1F-49F in Explorers of Time, Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Sky. Drifloon is exclusive to Blazing Adventure Squad in Mystery Dungeon 3, appearing on the Path to Treasure Valley B15-B23.

Drifloon appears within Volcano Cave in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. In Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, Drifloon can be found floating around the skies of the Oblivia Region in the Present, and in the Light Temple Mission "At Last, Arceus and the Light" in the Past by defeating it and obtaining its Slate.

Drifloon appear at Misty Edgewater Forest 2-2 and Everspring Valley Hauntyard 4-2 in Pokémon Rumble Blast.

Drifloon can be found at Spectra during a Swarm in Pokémon Conquest.

Drifloon is listed in Pokémon Organized Play Series 6 as an Uncommon Card. Drifloon is listed as a Common Card in the Majestic Dawn, Legends Awakened, Stormfornt, Supreme Victors, Undaunted, and Dragons Exalted (2) sets, and as an Uncommon Card in the Diamond and Pearl set. Drifloon is listed as a Secret Holographic Card in the Stormfront set, a Drifloon that is a Shiny Drifloon.

A trainer named Paige would use a Drifloon during the episode Drifloon in the Wind, an episode that also featured Suicune. Fantina also used a Drifloon during the episode Playing the Leveling Field, which was used for a practice match against Ash.

Wild Drifloon appear in the films The Rise of Darkrai and Arceus and the Jewel of Life, along with the Pikachu Shorts "Pikachu's Exploration Club" and "Pikachu's Great Sparking Search."
