Drilbur takes on the appearance of a small mole. It has a white face, including the snout, at the end of its snout is a pink nose. Its fur is mostly black but it has some stripes with the colouring navy bluish with a tinge of grey. It has large arms are round-ish giving out a shovel look. It has three white long claws on each arm. On its palm area there is a round circle what is the same colour as the stripes. Drilbur has small stubby round feet, there are three toes on both foot.
Drilbur doesn't have any differences to differentiate between male and female.
Drilbur appears at Wellspring Cave, Mistralton Cave, Chargestone Cave, and Twist Mountain in Black and White, but it only appears at Shaking Spots in each area. In Black 2 and White 2, Drilbur appears at Chargestone Cave, Mistralton Cave and Relic Path, but only at Shaking Spots in these areas.
Drilbur appears at Sea Song Beach in the Cove Area in PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond. It can be befriended by defeating it in battle, after which it can be called into battle.
Drilbur appears within the Earth Nation in Pokémon Conquest.
