Drowzee (スリープ) is the 96th Pokémon in the Pokédex. It is a Psychic-Type, and is known as the Hypnosis Pokémon.

Drowzee can use one of two Abilities; Insomnia, which prevents it from being afflicted by the Sleep Status conditon, or Forewarn, which warns the Pokémon of the opponent's strongest move. Its Hidden Ability is Inner Focus, which prevents it from being flinched.

Drowzee gain the opportunity to evolve into Hypno starting from Level 26.

Drowzee is in the Human-Like Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 steps to hatch. It takes Drowzee 1,000,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Physiology

Drowzee is a plump, yellow and brown Pokemon. The lower half of its body is brown, with its toes being yellow. Drowzee's nose is similar to a tapir's nose, which looks like a very short trunk. The upper half of its body is yellow, including its arms. The coloration of its inner ears are brown.

Game Information

Original Games

In Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow, Drowzee can be caught in the wild at Route 11. In Pokémon Gold, Silver and Crystal, it can be caught at Route 11, Route 34 and Route 35. It can also be caught at Route 6 in Crystal.

In Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, Drowzee can once again be caught in the wild at Route 11, as well as Berry Forest.

In Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, Drowzee can be caught in the wild at Route 215 during a Swarm. In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, it can be caught at Route 11, Route 35 and in the swamp area of the Safari Zone during the night.

In Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, Drowzee can be obtained by breeding a Hypno. It could also be caught in the Dream World at Spooky Manor.

In Pokémon X and Y, Drowzee can be caught in the Friend Safari. In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, it can be obtained by breeding a Hypno.

In Pokémon Sun and Moon, Drowzee can be caught in the wild at Route 2.
