 Pokémon Information
 Competitive Battling
Durant is in the Borderline 2 (BL2) tier of competitive battling, which means that it is not used enough to be a part of the Underused (UU) tier but banned from the Rarelyused (RU) tier. Durant is not very good in UU, as it suffers immensely from poor HP and Special Defense stats that limit its switch in opportunities. It is very weak to Fire-type attacks and has 80% accuracy attacking moves due to Hustle, which is necessary for Durant to hit hard against opposing Pokémon. Durant does have a nice Speed stat and great power when backed by Hustle which can be further bolstered by Hone Claws, a move that helps Durant's accuracy issues as well. That does not change the fact that UU is a relatively unfriendly tier to Durant, which cannot impose its power as it did when it was in RU.
