Dustox (ドクケイル) is the 18th Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Bug/Poison Type, and is classified as a Poison Moth Pokémon.

Dustox uses the Shield Dust Ability. This Ability nullifies the secondary effects of Physical and Special Attacks. A second Ability is available to Dustox that come from the Dream World, the Compoundeyes Ability. This ability raises the Accuracy of this Pokémon's attacks by 30%.

Wurmple evolve into Cascoon when they reach Level 7 with a Personality Value greater than or equal to 5. Cascoon can evolve into Dustox when it reaches Level 10.

Dustox is in the Bug Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 3,840 Steps to hatch. It takes Dustox One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Original Games

Dustox can only be obtained by evolving Cascoon in Ruby, Sapphire, Diamond, and White versions.

Dustox appears at Eterna Forest and Route 230 in Pearl. Dustox appears at the Northern End of Route 205, Routes 224, 229 and Eterna Forest in Platinum.

Dustox appears during the National Park's Bug Catching Contest on Thursday in Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

Spin-off Games

Dustox appears at Secret Storage 9, Endless Level 6, Forever Level 6 and Mr. Who's Den in Pokémon Trozei!.

Dustox can only be obtained by evolving Cascoon in the first Mystery Dungeon game. In Explorers of Time, Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Sky, Dustox appears in Landslide Cave B1-B12. Dustox appears in all three versions of Mystery Dungeon 3, appearing in each respective games' Mystery-named area 13F-18F, Legendary-themed area 14F-18F and each respective games' Final-named area at the 29th Floor.

Dustox has yet to make an appearance in the Pokémon Ranger series.

Dustox can be found at Challengers' Ground Forest 1-4 in Pokémon Rumble Blast.

Dustox appears in five sets. It is listed as a Rare card in the EX Ruby and Sapphire, EX Legend Maker, Diamond and Pearl, Platinum and Dragons Exalted sets.

Jessie's Cascoon evolved into a Dustox in the episode [[Seeing is Believing!].] Jessie would go on to utilize Dustox in her own Pokémon Contests along with the usual Team Rocket mischief until Jessie released her Dustox in the episode Crossing Paths to mate with a Shiny Dustox.

Movies

Aaron's Dustox and a Wild Dustox make an appearance in the film Zoroark: Master of Illusions, the lone film appearance for Dustox as of writing.

III Ruby Dustox is instinctively drawn to light. Swarms of this Pokémon are attracted by the bright lights of cities, where they wreak havoc by stripping the leaves off roadside trees for food.
Sapphire When Dustox flaps its wings, a fine dust is scattered all over. This dust is actually a powerful poison that will even make a pro wrestler sick. This Pokémon searches for food using its antennae like radar.
Emerald It is a nocturnal Pokémon that flies from fields and mountains to the attraction of streetlights at night. It looses highly toxic powder from its wings.
FireRed It scatters horribly toxic dust when it sense danger. They tend to gather in the glow of streetlamps at night.
LeafGreen It scatters horribly toxic dust when it sense danger. They tend to gather in the glow of streetlamps at night.
