Eelektross uses the Levitate Ability. This Ability eliminates its weakness to Ground-Type moves by nullifying the damage that Ground-Type moves cause, in addition to avoiding damage from Spikes and evading Arena Trap. An Ability-nullifying move or Ability cancels this effect, however.
Eelektross is in the Amorphous Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Eelektross 1,250,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
Eelektross takes on the appearance of a large eel with arms. The arms each have a set of three claws, with each claw equidistant from the others. Its mouth still resembles a leech, but with teeth on the outside.
Eelektross doesn't have any differences to differentiate between male and female.
Eelektross can be found at Shimmering Lake Cave 2-4 in Pokémon Rumble Blast after completing the game. This is the only spin-off game that Eelektross appears in as of writing.
Trading Card Game
Eelektross is listed as a Rare Card in the Noble Victories and Dark Explorers sets.
Emmet of the Battle Subway would use an Eelektross in the episodes Battle For The Underground and Lost at the Stamp Rally!, the second of which features a Double Battle involving Ash and Cilan facing off against Emmet and Ingo, the Subway Bosses.
A Wild Eelektross appears in the White version of Pokémon Movie 14.
Eelektross's Manga Information is unknown as of writing.
Eelektross is in the Rarelyused (RU) tier of competitive battling. With good offensive stats and a large movepool, Eelektross has a lot of offensive options to work with, from Flamethrower to Giga Drain to Knock Off. Its decent bulk allows for it to act as a decent Assault Vest pivot capable of taking on Pokémon like Bronzong and Meloetta while pivoting out with Volt Switch. Thanks to Levitate, Eelektross has no weaknesses and has an immunity to Spikes and Toxic Spikes. However, Eelektross is quite slow, can be taken out by powerful Pokémon like Emboar that ignore Eelektross's improved special bulk through Assault Vest, is relatively easy to wear down, and is quite vulnerable to status ailments that can wear it down even further.
Eelektross cannot learn any moves by way of breeding.
