You need to collect Badges and capture and train Pokémon to make your way to the top of trainerdom, The Elite Four. On the road to success you'll be given little side-stories and quests to complete and engage in battles with the infamous villians of Hoenn Team Magma and Team Aqua, now in a joined alliance, it is your duty to take them both down, whose goal is to expand the land and water mass of the Hoenn Region using the power of the legendary Pokémon Groudon and Kyogre. But instead of battling either one of these Pokémon, you now must face the Sky Pokémon, Rayquaza and stop the fued between the beasts of land and sea. You can know capture each of these legendary Pokémon in seperte locations throughout the Hoenn region with the help of team specific items.
