Event Pokémon are those only obtainable through special events - usually over Nintendo Wi-Fi or In-Life - in which the player will recieve an item which unlocks a new area or event in game that allows them to catch the following Pokémon in their respective games. Some Pokemon can only be obtained through special Nintendo Events, a list of of those Pokémon can be found below.
