Exeggcute (タマタマ) is the 102nd Pokémon in the Pokédex. It is a Grass/Psychic-Type, and is known as the Egg Pokémon.

Exeggcute uses the Chlorophyll Ability, which doubles its Speed stat in periods of strong sunlight. Its Hidden Ability is Harvest, which gives it a 50% chance of restoring a consumed Berry at the end of each turn, increasing to 100% in strong sunlight.

Exeggcute gain the opportunity to evolve into Exeggutor when exposed to a Leaf Stone. In the Alola region, it evolves into Alolan Exeggutor by the same method.

Exeggcute is in the Grass Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 steps to hatch. It takes Exeggcute 1,250,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Exeggcute appears to be six eggs which, are all slightly cracked. Each has a different facial expression, two eggs look quite similar to each other. Their main coloration is a light pink. Exeggcute are actually plant seeds, not eggs. This explains why its evolution is tree-like.

Original Games

In Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow, Exeggcute can be found in the Safari Zone. In Pokémon Gold and Silver, it can be caught at Route 26, Route 27, Route 34, Route 35, Route 36, Route 37, Route 38, Route 39, Azalea Town, Ilex Forest and Lake of Rage by headbutting trees. It can be found at Route 33, Route 42, Route 43, Route 44, Azalea Town and Lake of Rage in Pokémon Crystal.

Exeggcute once again appears in the Safari Zone in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, as well as Berry Forest. In Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, it can be found in the Great Marsh as a Daily Pokémon after defeating the Elite Four. It can be caught in any tree that can be headbutted in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

In Pokémon Black and White, Exeggcute can be caught in the wild at Route 18 during a Swarm. It could also be caught in the Dream World at Pleasant Forest.

Exeggcute can be caught at Route 12 and Azure Bay in Pokémon X and Y. In Pokémon Sun and Moon, it appears at Ancient Poni Path, Exeggutor Island and Poni Wilds.
