Flame Orb

The Flame Orb is a held item that afflicts the user with a Burn after one turn of battle.
Also powers up Fire type Pokémon.

The Burn effect of a Flame Orb can be used to activate Abilities that require a Status condition, such as Guts or Marvel Scale, and this would also double the Base Power of Facade to 140 (210 if the Pokémon using Facade is a Normal Type due to a Same Type Attack Boost).

• Route 224 (Diamond/Pearl)
• You can trade in 16BP for a Flame Orb at the Battle Park in the Fight Area.
• 16 BP is also the asking price for a Flame Orb at the Battle Frontier in Platinum, Heart Gold and Soul Silver.
• A Flame Orb can be found by using the Dowsing Machine on the Pokéwalker course Volcano Path after taking 4000 Steps or more.

• Violet City Gym Leader Falkner has a Swellow that holds a Flame Orb during the Rematches against him, held at Saffron City's Fighting Dojo.

A Flame Orb can be obtained at Gear Station in Black and White.
