Floatzel (フローゼル) is the 57th Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex. It is a Water-Type, and is known as the Sea Weasel Pokémon.
Floatzel uses the Swift Swim Ability. This Ability doubles its Speed when it is raining, but this doesn't take effect on the same turn in which the weather turns to rain. A second Ability is available to Floatzel from the Dream World, the Water Veil Ability. This Ability protects it from taking a Burn.
Buizel can evolve into Floatzel at Level 26.
Floatzel is in the Egg Groups Water 1 and Field, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Floatzel One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.

[edit] Pokémon Information
[edit] Competitive Battling
Floatzel finds itself in the Never-Utilized and Rarely-Utilized Tiers of Competitive Battling. Its Base Speed is tied with Starmie for the fastest amongst Water-Type Pokémon, which is only second to an Arceus holding a Splash Plate. Overall, its Speed is in a multi-way tie for 23rd Fastest in the metagame. It also has a good Attack Statistic with usable coverage in the moves that it can learn and access to a priority move of its own type. It's defenses are lacking in comparison, and getting afflicted with a Status Condition really shuts Floatzel down.
