Gallade (エルレイド) is the 170th Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex. He is a Psychic/Fighting type, and is known as the Blade Pokémon.
Gallade has 2 abilities at his disposal: Steadfast, and Justified. Steadfast raises his Speed Statistic by one one stage each time that he flinches. Focus Punch flinches, do not activate it, however. Justified raises his Attack Stat by one stage each time he is hit with a Dark-type move, however this ability is only available to Gallade from the Dream World.
He evolves from a male Kirlia when exposed to the energy of the Dawn Stone. This is one of the final evolutions of his primary form, Ralts, along with Gardevoir.
Gallade is in the Amorphous Egg Group, and his Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Gallade 1,250,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

[edit] Pokémon Information
[edit] Competitive Battling
Gallade is a viable option in the Rarely-Utilized and Under-Utilized Tiers of Competitive Battling. While its previous forms utilized Special Attacks, Gallade has a strong Attack, and unlike most Fighting-Type Pokémon it has a high Special Defense. It also has access to a wide variety of physical attacks, along with some support moves that can take an opponent by surprise. Like Gardevoir, Gallade can also make use of Trick Room as a result of its relatively low Speed.
Gallade doesn't have strong physical defenses, leaving it vulnerable to getting revenge-KO'd by faster Pokémon. Physical walls can also stop Gallade in its tracks, along with taking a Burn.
