[edit] Competitive Battling
Galvantula is a capable Special Sweeper in the Rarely-Utilized, Under-Utilized and Over-Utilized Tiers of Competitive Battling. While its Defenses leave something to be desired, it has the Speed and Special Attack to cause headaches for those unprepared. The combination of using Thunder paired with its Compoundeyes Ability is rather dangerous to go against because the Ability gives Thunder an eyebrow-raising 91% Accuracy! Despite this, Special Walls tend to be problematic for Galvantula to face.
