Generation IV

Generation IV introduced the games Pokémon Diamond, Pokémon Pearl and Pokémon Platinum, and two remakes from Generation II: Pokémon Heart Gold and Pokémon Soul Silver. This generation introduced 107 new Pokémon, numerous different regions, and even more spin-off games than the previous generation. All games from this generation are played on either the Nintendo DS or the Nintendo Wii.
