Gigalith's ability is Sturdy, which nullifies the effect of One-Hit Knock Out moves such as Fissure or Horn Drill, and starting with Generation V, all Pokémon that have this ability cannot be knocked out when its HP is full. In this instance the Pokémon will have 1 HP left instead. A second ability exclusive to Gigalith captured in the Dream World (either as a Gigalith or either of its two pre-evolved forms), called Sand Force, increases the power of Ground, Rock, and Steel-Type moves by 33% during a Sandstorm.
Gigalith is in the Mineral Egg Group, and its Egg take approximately 3,840 steps to hatch. It takes Gigalith 1,059,860 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
Gigalith takes the appearance of a rock monster with gems growing out of its entire body; with multiple gemstone growths on its head, body, and four legs.

Gigalith can only be obtained by inducing a Boldore to evolve in Black and White, but a Gigalith can be obtained in Black 2 and White 2 by way of an in-game trade on Route 7. The trainer is asking for an Emolga in exchange.

In Pokémon Conquest, the only way to obtain a Gigalith is to evolve Boldore.
