Glameow (ニャルマー) is the 76th Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex. It is a Normal-Type, and is known as the Catty Pokémon.

Glameow can use one of two Abilities: Limber, which gives it an immunity to Paralysis, or Own Tempo, which prevents it from becoming Confused, even if an Allied Pokémon used Teeter Dance. A third Ability is available to Glameow from the Dream World, the Keen Eye Ability. This Ability prevents opposing Pokémon from lowering its Accuracy.

Glameow gain the opportunity to evolve into Purugly starting at Level 38.

Glameow is in the Field Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Glameow 800,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Glameow takes on the appearance of a small cat with a tail that curls like a spring. Its head is slightly larger than its body.

Glameow appears on Route 218 and Route 222 in Pokémon Pearl. The only other game that Glameow appears in is Pokémon White 2, as a Glameow can appear in a Hidden Grotto during a Funfest Mission.

Glameow can be found at Crystal Crossing B7-B13 in Explorers of Time, Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Sky. Glameow is exclusive to Light Adventure Squad in Mystery Dungeon 3, appearing at Chocolate Field on the following floors: 5, 8-10 and 12 & 13.

Glameow appears at Vientown Beach in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. In Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, Glameow inhabit the Entrance to the Old Mansion in the Present, and in the Ice Temple missions "Round and Round! Find the Floor!" and "Don't Look Back! Run Through the Path" in the Past by defeating it and obtaining its Slate.

Glameow appears at Everspring Valley Meadow 4-2 in Pokémon Rumble Blast.

Dawn's mother Johanna has been featured with a Glameow during various different episodes and flashbacks starting with Following a Maiden Voyage!. Johanna and Glameow had won numerous Pokémon Contests years prior, rising Johanna to the ranks of Top Coordinator.

Zoey would also use a Glameow of her own in many different Pokémon Contests, including winning the Sinnoh Grand Festival alongside her Gallade.
