Ground Type Pokémon include monsters ranging from the Humble Sandshrew to the Epic Monster that is Garchomp. These Pokemon receive STAB damage for Earthquake, the most overused move in today's meta game. Ground types, offensively, are a very powerful type, being super effective against five types. Their attacks are super effective against Steel, Rock, Fire, Poison, and Electric types, are not very effective against Bug and Grass types, have no effect against Flying types, they're resistant to Poison, and Rock types, are weak to Grass, Ice, and Water types, and are immune to Electric types.
