Gyro Ball is a Steel-Type move introduced in Generation IV. The user generates a high-speed spin, tackling the target.

The Base Power of this move is determined by the Speed of both the User and the target. The slower the user is than the target, the greater the Base Power. Other effects that affect the Speed of both the User and target are taken into account, such as Paralysis, Abilities that increase Speed during certain weather conditions, hold items that can reduce speed such as a Lagging Tail, Iron Ball, or a Power Item such as a Macho Brace, among others.

The maximum Base Power that this move can reach is 150.
