Happiny (ピンプク) is the 96th Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex. It is a Normal-Type, and is known as the Playhouse Pokémon.

Happiny can use one of two Abilities: Natural Cure, which cures any Status Conditions that it has become afflicted with whenever it is switched out of battle; or Serene Grace, which doubles the chances of a move having its secondary effect activate. Its Hidden Ability is Friend Guard, which reduces the amount of damage that Allied Pokémon take from other teammates.

Happiny gain the opportunity to evolve into Chansey if it levels up while holding an Oval Stone during the day. It can evolve into a Blissey by way of High Happiness and leveling up.

Happiny is in the Undiscovered Egg Group, but a Happiny Egg can be bred if either of its evolved forms are holding a Luck Incense while breeding, an Egg that takes approximately 10,240 Steps to hatch. It takes Happiny 800,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
