Hitmonchan (Japanese name: エビワラー Ebiwalar) is a fighting type Pokemon who was introduced during Generation I. His previous form was Tyrogue, who can evolve into Hitmonchan if his Defense is higher than his Attack, starting at level 20. Other possible evolutions for Tyogue is Hitmonlee and Hitmontop.

Hitmonchan's body structure is very human-like. His main body colouration is brown, but he has areas, which are purple, those areas being his feet and some of his torso, that seems to represent a tunic. He has notable red boxing gloves on each hand. His head has a crest split into five and unlike Hitmonlee, his body and head are seperated.
