Biology

Physiology

Hitmonlee has a similar body structure to a human, but it's head area isn't on a neck. It's limbs are cream-coloured and they can extend out quite far because they are segmented . The rest of it's body colouration, including hands and feet is brown. The feet have three claws and has small-round padding on each foot. Hitmonlee's body is rather round, without a neck leading to a head. Instead, it's face belongs near the top of it's body, though, it's face is only two eyes.

Gender differences

Hitmonlee is a species of Pokemon that is only male with no female counterpart.

Anime Appearances

Hitmonlee has had quite a few anime appearances over the years. The most notable anime series character to be seen using one is Barry, who used it in his Sinnoh League battle with Paul. Competitive Battling

Hitmonlee is a part of the Rarelyused (RU) tier of competitive battling. With a solid base 120 Attack, Reckless to boost its STAB High Jump Kick, and access to moves like Knock Off and Rapid Spin, Hitmonlee can be quite an offensive wallbreaker and utility provider for entry hazard removal. It has priority attacks as well in Mach Punch and Sucker Punch, which can pick off faster threats. Hitmonlee's best set is a Life Orb set that can do some significant damage with High Jump Kick and Knock Off while providing utility in priority attacks and Rapid Spin. It can also run a Choice Scarf set to help out its Speed stat and act as a nice revenge killer with Reckless High Jump Kick. Hitmonlee's biggest flaws are an average base 87 Speed, bad HP, and pitiful physical defense, which make it susceptible to being revenge killed rather easily.
