Houndour is a Dark/Fire type Pokemon who evolves into Houndoom at level 24. It has been introduced in Generation II, it sits at the number 228 in the National Pokedex. Houndours are typically seen in packs with other Houndour and Houndooms.

[edit] Physiology
Houndour is a small dog-like Pokemon. Its fur is mostly black excluding its red underbelly and snout. It has a skull-like feature on its forehead which is white-ish grey. The bands around its ankles are also the same colour. On Houndours back, there is two rib-like bands what is also white-ish grey. Houndours red snout is sort of short, some of its teeth pokes out of its mouth. It has a small black nose and short pointy ears and tail. Houndour has three toes on each foot with red round paw pads underneath.
