Inkay (Kalos Coastal Pokédex. It is a Dark/Psychic-Type, and is known as the Revolving Pokémon.) is the 10th Pokémon in the
Inkay can use one of two Abilities: Contrary, which reverses the intended effects of moves that adjust its Statistics; or Suction Cups, which prevents it from being forced out of battle via an opponent's attack. Inkay's Hidden Ability is Infiltrator, an Ability that ignores the protections and increased Statistics caused by defensive screens such as Reflect or Safeguard, and now including Substitute.
Inkay gain the opportunity to evolve into Malamar starting at Level 30 whilst holding the Nintendo 3DS Upside-Down.
Inkay takes on the appearance of a small, bluish-purple squid with six small tentacles and two tendrils attached to its head. The top of its head has light spots on it.
The shape of Inkay is not dissimilar to a Blooper in the earlier entries of the Super Mario Brothers franchise.
Inkay doesn't have any visible differences to differentiate between male and female.
Inkay has yet to appear in a Spin-Off Game as of writing.

Inkay is listed twice in the XY Set; once as a Common card and once as an Uncommon Card.
