The Jaw Fossil is one of two fossils introduced in Generation VI. It appears alongside the Sail Fossil and is used to revive the Ancient Pokémon Tyrunt.

Locations

Generation VI

In Pokémon X and Y, the Jaw Fossil can be found in the Glittering Cave and you have a choice between it or the Sail Fossil. The fossil that you didn't pick will be given to the player's rival.

The Jaw Fossil can be revived in the Pokémon Lab located in Ambrette Town, where you'll receive Tyrunt after its revival

In-game Description

Games Description
XY A fossil from a prehistoric Pokémon that once lived on the land. It looks as if it could be a piece of a large jaw.
