Krabby is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in generation I. It is known as the River Crab Pokémon, and it evolves into Kingler at level 28.

Krabby mostly resembles a crab. The top half of Krabby is orange colored, and the bottom half of Krabby is cream colored. It also has very strong pincers.

In Mystery at the Lighthouse, Ash catches a Krappy which is then transferred to Professor Oak's lab. He never used Krabby again until it evolved into Kingler in Round One - Begin!

Pokémon Red Its pincers are not only powerful weapons, they are used for balance when walking sideways.
Pokémon Blue Its pincers are not only powerful weapons, they are used for balance when walking sideways.
Pokémon Yellow Its pincers are superb weapons. They sometimes break off during battle, but they grow back fast.



II Pokémon Gold If it senses danger approaching, it cloaks itself with bubbles from its mouth so it will look bigger.
