Krookodile (ワルビアル) is the 59th Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex. It is a Ground/Dark Type, and it is known as the Intimidation Pokémon.

Krookodile's Abilities are Intimidate, which lowers the opponent's Attack stat by one stage upon this Pokémon's entry into battle, an effect that works on both opponents in a Double Battle except on Pokémon with the Clear Body, Hyper Cutter or White Smoke abilities; and Moxie, which increases the Attack stat by one stage when the Pokémon KO's another Pokémon. A third Ability is available to Krookodile from the Dream World, called Anger Point, which increases the Attack stat to its maximum level upon taking a Critical Hit.

Sandile can evolve into Krokorok at Level 29, and can evolve a second time into Krookodile at Level 40.

Krookodile is in the Field Egg Group, and its Egg will take approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Krookodile 1,059,860 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Krookodile appears at Cove Town in the Cove Area in PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond. It can be befriended by defeating it in battle, after which you'll be able to call it into battle.

Krookodile can be quite the offensive threat in the Under-Utilized and Over-Utilized Tiers with a great Attack and decent Speed. A team not prepared to deal with a physical sweeper like this could potentially take a major thrashing, especially if Krookodile is running the Moxie Ability. However, users of priority moves can be a problem because Krookodile doesn't learn any such moves, and its Defense Statistics aren't that great.
