Ledian (レディアン) is the 31st Pokémon in the Johto Pokédex. It is a Bug/Flying type, and is known as the Five Star Pokémon.

Ledian can possess one of two Abilities; Swarm, which increases the power of its Bug type moves by 50% when its HP falls below a third of its maximum, or Early Bird, which allows it to wake from the Sleep status condition in half the time it would normally take. Its Hidden Ability is Iron Fist, which increases the power of punching moves by 20%.

Ledyba evolves into Ledian starting at Level 18.

Ledian is part of the Bug Egg Group, and hatches after 3,840 steps. It takes Ledian 800,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Biology

Physiology

Ledian appears to look like a large, red ladybug. It has two black antennae, a black neck and a black spot in the center of its forehead. It has two slanted eyes that are blue, reminiscent of the stereotypical alien. Its four arms are like those of its Pre-evolved form Ledyba: black stalks with boxing glove like, white fists at the end. Its two legs are similar to its arms, but end with red feet. Its back is red in coloration, with the undersides of the ladybug-like wing covers yellow.

Gender Differences

The female version of Ledian has shorter antennae than male Ledian.
