Linoone (マッスグマ) is the 13th Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Normal Type, and is known as the Rushing Pokémon.
Linoone's lone ability in the Generation III games is Pickup. With this ability, there is a 10% chance of this Pokémon finding an item to hold after battle, but this won't work if it is already holding an item. Starting in Generation V, Pickup also allows for the user of the ability to pick up the item of either its opponent or ally if such an item was used up during battle. Generation IV added a second ability to Linoone, called Gluttony. This ability causes a held Berry to be consumed earlier than usual when its Hit Points are low. This gets cancelled out by the Unnerve ability, however.
A third Ability was added to Linoone in the Fifth Generation, which is available to Dream World Linoone: Quick Feet. With the exception of Paralysis, when afflicted by a status condition its Speed Stat increases by 50%.
Zigzagoon can evolve into Linoone starting at Level 20.
Linoone is in the Field Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 3,840 Steps to hatch. It takes Linoone One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.

[edit] Competitive Battling
Linoone finds itself in the Never-Utilized and Rarely-Utilized Tiers of Competitive Battling as a result of Statistics that are below average, save its Speed. The best way it can be utilized is using Belly Drum to maximize its Attack, but that's risky in itself due to its low Defenses.
