Lumineon (ネオラント is the 135th Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex. It is a Water-Type, and is known as the Neon Pokémon.
Lumineon can use one of two Abilites: Swift Swim, which doubles its Speed when it is raining; or Storm Drain, which draws Water-Type moves to it, nullifying the move's damage and increasing its Special Attack by one stage. A third Ability is available to Lumineon from the Dream World, the Water Veil Ability. This Ability gives it an immunity from suffering a Burn.
Finneon can evolve into Lumineon at Level 31.
Lumineon is in the Water 2 Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Lumineon 600,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

[edit] Game Information
[edit] Original Games
Lumineon can be found by fishing at the South End of Route 205, along with Routes 218, 219, 220 and 221, along with Valley Windworks, Iron Mountain, Canalave City and Fuego Ironworks in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. The only way to obtain a Lumineon in Heart Gold and Soul Silver is to evolve a Finneon.
Fishing is also required to find Lumineon in Black and White, as Lumineon appears at Route 17, Route 18 and the P2 Laboratory. In Black 2 and White 2, in addition to these areas Lumineon can also be found at Route 4, Virbank City and Virbank Complex.
[edit] Spin-Off Games

Lumineon appears at Puel Sea after completing an In-Game Quest in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. In Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, Lumineon can be found inside the Eastern Sea's Undersea Cavern on the Seafloor in the Present, but Lumineon doesn't appear in the Past Missions.
Lumineon can be found at Echo Valley Beach 1-3 in Pokémon Rumble Blast after completing the game.

[edit] Competitive Battling
While Storm Drain received improvement in Generation V, it still didn't help Lumineon enough, as it finds itself in the Never-Utilized Tier of Competitive Battling. Its movepool and Statistics are its biggest let-downs, limiting how effective it can be.
