Lunatone (ルナトーン) is the 125th Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Rock/Psychic-Type, and it is known as the Meteorite Pokémon.
Lunatone uses the Levitate Ability. This Ability nullifies the effects of Ground-Type moves such as Earth Power and Earthquake against it. Additionally, Arena Trap won't prevent it from being switched out, and it won't take damage from Spikes when it gets switched in.
Lunatone does not evolve and does not have any pre-evolved forms.
Lunatone is in the Mineral Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 6,400 Steps to hatch. It takes Lunatone 800,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

[edit] Anime
Liza would use a Lunatone as part of the Mossdeep City Gym Battle against Ash in the episodes It's Still Rocket Roll to Me and Solid As A Solrock. The first battle was interrupted by Team Rocket, but when they got the battle underway, Lunatone would be defeated by a combination attack from Ash's Pikachu and Swellow.

[edit] Pokémon Information
[edit] Competitive Battling
Lunatone finds itself in the Never-Utilized Tier of Competitive Battling. It has access to a couple of different strategies: one for setting up Trick Room and one for using Rock Polish to boost Speed, then using Baton Pass to pass the boosts.
While both sets boast a differing amount of offensive options, both set up options get shut down by Taunt, and anything slower than Lunatone in Trick Room can become a serious problem. Additionally, its Defenses aren't very good, leaving Lunatone to get KO'd relatively easy, especially by priority moves, which will be very problematic.
