Makuhita (マクノシタ) is the 48th Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Fighting Type, and it is known as the Guts Pokémon.
Makuhita can have one of two abilities: Thick Fat, an Ability the reduces the damage taken from Fire and Ice Type Attacks by 50%; or Guts, an Ability that increases the power of its physical attacks by 50% when induced with one of the five status conditions, and Attack won't be lowered as a result of being afflicted with a Burn. A third Ability is available to Makuhita from the Dream World, the Sheer Force Ability. This ability gives a 33% power increase to all moves that have a secondary effect, but those secondary effects are lost as a result of the increase in power.
Makuhita gain the opportunity to evolve into Hariyama starting at Level 24.
Makuhita is in the Human-Like Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Makuhita 1,640,000 Experience Points at the most to reach Level 100.
