Mankey (マンキー) is the 56th Pokémon in the Pokédex. It is a Fighting-Type, and is known as the Pig Monkey Pokémon.

Mankey can use one of two Abilities: Vital Spirit, which gives it an immunity to the Sleep Status Condition, or Anger Point, which increases its Attack Statistic to its Maximum should it take a Critical Hit. Its Hidden Ability is Defiant, which increases its Attack by two stages when an opposing Pokémon reduces its Statistics.

Mankey gain the opportunity to evolve into Primeape starting at Level 28.

Mankey is in the Field Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Mankey One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.
