Mantyke (タマンタ) is the 140th Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex. It is a Water/Flying Type, and is known as the Kite Pokémon.

Mantyke can use one of two Abilities: Swift Swim, which doubles its Speed while it is raining; or Water Absorb, which recovers up to 25% of its Maximum HP whenever it gets hit with a Water-Type move. A third Ability is available to Mantyke from the Dream World, the Water Veil Ability. This Ability protects it from taking a Burn.

Mantyke gain the opportunity to evolve into Mantine by leveling up while a Remoraid is also in your party of six Pokémon.

Mantyke is in the Undiscovered Egg Group, but an Egg with a Mantyke can be bred if a Mantine is holding a Wave Incense. This Egg takes approximately 6,400 Steps to hatch. It takes Mantyke 1,250,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
