 Pokémon Information
 Competitive Battling
Maractus is listed in the Never-Utilized Tier of Competitive Battling because the other Grass-Types can do what it does better. There is one thing Maractus can do that other Grass-Types can't: it can use the Chlorophyll Ability in tandem with Spikes. Outside of that, it's low defenses and shallow movepool keep it from being a viable threat to too many Pokémon that aren't weak to Grass-Type moves.
